What is Achill Management?

Achill Management is a team of highly-dedicated senior executives and consultants with strategic management experience in all sectors of the economy.

Based on a network approach our group of consultants come together for specific projects, allowing us to offer a huge range of skills and services to small, growing, medium and larger organisations, providing them with the tailored interventions and organisational support they need to be more effective, more efficient and more successful.

We don’t believe in a one-size fits all approach. Our clients are different and have different needs which require individual solutions.

We believe in sharing best practice to devise and implement solutions that work – using both our collective knowledge, and transferred learning, to ensure that all our consultancy projects “make a difference”.

We encourage you to read about us, about our clients and how we have been able to help them.

We are delighted to welcome two new Consultants to the Achill Management team - Norma Corkish and Nic Fenton. Both Norma and Nic are highly experienced having worked with a wide range of not for profit organisations both in the UK and internationally, and they bring additional skills and expertise to the Achill Management Network.

The climate remains tough for the Third Sector with public donations down 11% and government funding continuing to fall. The pressure on charities and not for profits is likely to increase and mergers and collaborative working have become more common among Achill Management’s clients.

We delivered in excess of 40 consultancy days to clients across the South East as part of the Capacity Builders Modernisation Fund Bursaries in September and October, all with the focus on collaborative and cooperative working. Many of these organisations applied for Phase Two monies to support further joint working opportunities and are waiting to hear from Capacity Builders as to whether they have been successful.
